West Michigan Weather's Current Coverage Area - Effective Through August 1st 2024 @ 11:59 PM EDT

Over the last several weeks Owen and I have contemplated expanding our coverage area to represent better the "West Michigan" theme of West Michigan Weather.

After much discussion, we have indeed decided to do just that. In addition to the current 12,000+ square miles (encompassing the counties of Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Cass, Calhoun, Eaton, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, Ottawa, St. Joseph, and VanBuren and the nearshore and open waters of Lake Michigan from Michiana to Manistee out to mid-lake) we will be adding nearly 11,000 more square miles of Western Lower Michigan including the counties of Clare, Clinton, Gratiot, Hillsdale, Ingham, Isabella, and Jackson.

This change will be effective on August 2nd 2024. We hope to continue to serve the residents of West Michigan and we welcome all new followers from the cities of Hillsdale, Jackson, Lansing, St. Johns, Ithaca, Alma, Mount Pleasant, Clare, Harrison, and all the surrounding areas!
